Sign up for the official RosterSpin NHL Points Pool. Every 10 confirmed players will form a new pool.

Get your draft position
Each person in a 10-player pool is randomly assigned one of 10 historically balanced draft positions. This is not a traditional snake draft.

Draft 3 NHL teams
Each participant makes three selections from the 32 NHL teams. When it is their turn, they have up to 24 hours to make their pick. The draft system is being built now.

Follow them all season
The regular-season standings points earned by your three teams are added together. Highest combined total wins the pool. An overall RosterSpin leaderboard across all official pools is planned.
Why isn't this a snake draft?
Picking first in a normal three-round draft creates an advantage that isn't necessarily corrected by simply reversing the order. RosterSpin analyzed 13 full NHL seasons of preseason team point projections and actual final standings results to create 10 historically balanced three-pick draft positions — designed to give all 10 draft positions similar expected value based on historical NHL results.

Scoring
There are no fantasy player statistics and no complicated scoring system. We simply add together the official NHL regular-season standings points earned by your three teams. The highest combined total at the end of the NHL regular season wins.
