RosterSpin ("we," "us," or "our") operates rosterspin.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

RosterSpin is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the NHL.

• Leaderboard name. If you choose to enter a name to appear on the daily leaderboard, we store that name along with your score and the date. This is optional — you can play and share your results without providing a name. Please don't enter personal information (like your full legal name or contact details) as your leaderboard name, since this name is publicly visible to other visitors.
• Email address (season waitlist). If you sign up for updates about the upcoming season-long fantasy challenge, we collect your email address and, optionally, your favorite team. We use this solely to notify you when that feature launches and to contact the jersey giveaway winner.
• Usage and analytics data. We use Google Analytics and our own internal analytics to understand how visitors use the Site — for example, which pages are viewed, how long sessions last, and general engagement patterns. This may include standard technical information such as your IP address (in anonymized or aggregated form where possible), browser type, device type, and pages visited. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this information; you can learn more about how Google handles this data at policies.google.com/privacy.

We use the information described above to:

• Operate and display the daily leaderboard
• Notify season waitlist subscribers when new features launch
• Understand and improve how people use the Site
• Identify and contact giveaway winners, where applicable

We do not sell your personal information.

The Site currently uses cookies for analytics purposes (via Google Analytics). We may introduce advertising in the future (such as Google AdSense), which would involve additional cookies or similar tracking technologies used by ad providers to deliver and measure ads. If we do, we will update this policy accordingly. Most browsers let you control or block cookies through their settings, though doing so may affect how the Site functions.

We do not share your personal information with third parties except:

• Service providers who help us operate the Site (such as our hosting and database provider, Supabase, and Google Analytics)
• If required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of RosterSpin, our users, or others

We retain leaderboard entries and waitlist signups for as long as needed to operate these features. You can request that we delete your information at any time by contacting us (see below).

The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

You can:

• Play and share results without entering a leaderboard name
• Unsubscribe from any future email communications
• Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the Site evolves (for example, when we add account sign-in or new features). We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
